About Compassionfest

Compassionfest is located at the "1253", the Whitney Ave Culture Center, Hamden, Connecticut.
This year's event happens on Sat. Oct. 12, 2024, from 11am-8pm
The mission of Compassionfest is to unite like-minded people who believe in the values of being just, kindness, equality and compassion. We'll gather for delicious vegan food and animal-friendly product providers, non-profits, local artisans, vegan tattooing, music, & healing workshops for all ages.
Outdoor event - rain or shine.
FREE public admission/suggested donation to CT Vegan Center at the gate. This is a grassroots event.

This year is our first Jack-o-lantern lightning/pumpkin swap event. How it works:
•Bring a pumpkin w/no-flame light during fest hours
•Jack-o-lantern Lighting begins at sundown
•Pumpkin swap begins at 7pm: bring a pumpkin/ leave with someone else's pumpkin
